Through it all, Drake and Tori find themselves falling for each other. So when Tori spills the truth Drake is left reeling. But I’m the end, they defeat Cross with close friends and take their second chance at love, this time with a wedding and baby involved ❤️❤️. It is always a pleasure reading a Madaris family saga book. I love the danger, suspense and love flowing through the pages. On to another one.

Love story with suspense!!!
The storyline about Sir Drake was great. Here this strong, good looking, vital man is deeply heartbroken over the death of the love of his life from a sick psychopath name Solomon and is bent on getting revenge meanwhile taking on dangerous and very risky assignment as a CIA operative. Unbeknownst to him the new female agent that he seem drawn to is his love of his life that he presume is dead and her identity needs to remain hidden to protect both her and Drake from the Solomon that supposedly killed her during a mission, that was orchestrated to lure Drake and Sandy there so that he could avenge his wife death from a previous mission that Drake and Solomon encountered. I like how she brings in the Madaris family and their friends and how they all connect based on a genuine caring and loving of family and friends that will be there no matter what crises may arise. I just started reading Brenda Jackson's books recently and is hook!! I have so far read several others and cant wait to read the others. This is a good read for summer, fall, winter, and spring take your pick.
Will Keep You Up Long Past Midnight
I had always been curious about Sir Drake Warren, and The Midnight Hour more than satisfied my curiosity! I fell in love with Drake Warren myself, so I could understand why Tori had to convince him to live! In Tori, Brenda Jackson created an Alpha Heroine, a woman who could hold her own against any man, yet was feminine and romantic as well. Together, the two of them were dynamite waiting to explode! Their story is riveting, and as the title stated, kept me up long past midnight until I finished it! Excellent story!!
Brenda Jackson did it again!!
I love the stories Brenda writes. Everything i read one of her book and the characters. It leave wanting more and more. Brenda has some of the best characters i have read in romance novels. Brenda "KEEP" me buy more of her book and just wanting more to read.

I’ve been reading Ms. Jackson’s books since the early 2000’s. I was trying to figure out the very first book of hers that I read that made he addicted to her story’s and now has me always waiting for the next book when I came across Drake and Tori’s story. I recalled reading about them in other stories, but didn’t recall reading the story. And once again Brenda Jackson has not disappointed the audience with this story! Her knack for creating these gorgeous tough men characters and pairing them with strong equally tough efficient women is amazing. I love, love, love reading a Brenda Jackson story because at the disco of it all I know love will conquer all.

The Midnight Hour by Brenda Jackson was exciting and spellbinding,,,,I especially like her family oriented novels. The Midnight Hour had a touch of intrigue , danger and deep love between the former CIA agent Sir Drake Warren and his former marine partner Sandy Carroll aka Victoria Green. On a secret mission with her partner ,Sir Warren Drake, a timed explosion nearly killed her and it knocked out Sir Warren. In order to keep Sandy safe from the cartel boss who held them responsible for the death of his wife in a previous raid; she was given a new identity and a new face because of extensive burns from the explosion..Sir Warren was never told what had happened to Sandy..Finally after a few years he is injured and she comes out of hiding to give him the will to live and love again...This is a great book..Ms.Jackson has 5 stars on this.
Hero hero’s
I like be the action is this story. Kept me in suspense the entire time reading. I read this book in under 4 hours. I just couldn’t put it down.
